Just suck it up and buy an OEM one. I've had countless problems with crappy autozone, kragen, etc...

Ive seen ppl cut a leg off of the ls distributors and Ive sadly had to do this myself. I hate rigging stuff up but when ur broke ur broke so. Yes itl work. I see this everyday man. Oem is expensive but every aftermarket one I have ever used has had problems sooner than later.

Indeed aftermarket are problematic. I have one for sale which I used to diagnose a wiring problem. It works and it's for sale, but I would recommend OEM.
