Default B16a2 96+

Ok, i've been searching through the popular motor suppliers and noticed that they only carry the B16a2 up till 95. I e-mailed and asked if they carried it from a 96+ civic and they replied:
"Hi Jeff,
We thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately the engine you speak of is a
USDM one, we only sell engines that were offered in Japan.
Let me know if you have any further concerns."

Aren't there B16a's from 96+ in japan? If there are, where can I find them!?!
If you know any online places, it would help a bunch..thanks.
