Default b16a2 with 1.7l displacement.

Is it possible to put b17 (gsr) rods on a b16 crank and ctr pistons? Would this give me a 1.7l displacment and a 11.1:1 cr?

I am wondering this cause i will have the block open and was thinking about this set-up since i have money available right now. PLease no 1.8 block swap suggestions.

Thank you and have a great day.

B17A block = B16A block..... same ****. If you want the 1.7L, then use the B17 crank and rods and if you run CTR pistons, then your compression is going to be 11.4:1 cr. If you keep the 1.6L stroke and use CTR pistons, then your compression will be 11.0:1 cr.
