Default B16A1 in 5th gen. hatch

Ok guys, I know this has been discussed before, but I just need some confirmation here. A buddy of mine got a great deal on a 1st gen. B16. He already ordered the hydro-cable conversion kit from Hasport. What else does he need? I know it has to go OBD-1 to non-OBD, but what mounts are used? I just want to make sure he has the right stuff before he gets into the swap. Thanks guys.

You should be able to use the stock mounts.

So then here's the list:
hydro to cable kit
OBD-1 to non-OBD conversion harness (?)
stock mounts will work

If there's anything to add to the list let me know.

Stock mounts won't work, the motor should have the jdm ones but if it doesnt, tell your buddy to add some HAsport customize mounts to his order list.

So then here's the list:
hydro to cable kit
OBD-1 to non-OBD conversion harness (?)
mounts that come with the engine will work

If there's anything to add to the list let me know.

If there's spare money left over... You may want to do the clutch and or flywheel at the same time. Other stuff are also simple to do (not to mention save time and money) change with the motor out, timing belt, header, etc..

Everyone is giving you shitty information.

1. You need OBD 1 injectors and an OBD 1 distributor.
2. The mounts that come with the motor will not work (unless the motor comes from an SiR II).
You need to find motor mounts from any 94-01 Integra.
3. You don't need an ecu conversion harness. Just run a chipped OBD 1 vtec ecu and you're fine.
4. Why are you running a cable transmission? Just get a Hydro tranny.. much less ghetto..

The guy got a really good deal on a b16a1 from one of our friends, so he's just gonna get the HASport conversion kit. Yeah it's ghetto, but when money's tight, ya gotta do what ya gotta do. So here's the final list then:
-HASport conversion kit
-Mounts from a 94-01 integra
-chipped OBD1 vtec ecu
-OBD 1 injectors and distributor
Hopefully this is all of it. If there's anything else missing let me know so I can tell him. Thanks guys.
