B16a vs B18b vs fankentec - need build advice
I have 2 92 civic hb one with B16a (60 km)another with B18b (75km) (both stock) with s/r intake. I bought both cars and can't descide what to do, I'm not a great mech but I do know people who would be able to help, need build advice!

I would like to get into atleast a 300+ hp with a great power to weight ratio, the one body is complete lightweight body parts I just need to start the motor build

first thing i would do is take that b16 head and put it on the b18b1 its a higher compression head than the b18b1 head put the b1 head on the b16 and sell the b16 car if it was me and use the money towards the b18

and youll get more out of the b18 and its also cheaper for boost if you decide to go that route.

So keep the b16a head and B18b block and sell the other? (I'I thought the vtec head is a higher rev head which would be harder on the B18 block, so I've read!

Honestly it depends on what your going to be using the car for. Are you going to be dd'ing it? Auto x?

With the b16 its going to be more expensive than a b18 also
