Junkyard turbo.

http://www.homemadeturbo.com

http://www.dseries.org

The first kunk turbo setup I did was with some ebay piping, ebay front mount, and an 99' eclipse turbo.

Made 250whp after the tune. The whole setup cost us like $750 with the tune.

Me and a friend when i lived in phoenix. He drove on the junkyard setup for about 15,000 miles then replaced the turbo with a garret t4.

It was on an LS in a 97 Purple hatch.

(check your pms, i pm'd you a while back)

Yes, when I helped with the kit I did, we got lucky and it matched up to our turbonetics manifold we got for peanuts.

The LS engine has strong cylinder walls. The B16a has the best rod to stroke ratio, making for less stress on the bearings under pressure. I've seen an LS with bolt-ons run 10psi with a T3/T4 for two years, until it was sold. Likewise, I've seen B16s take 11psi at the track with similar turbos.

hey mike, you already have the turbo and manifold. all you need is intercooler & piping, downpipe, wastegate, BOV, dsm 450's and resistor box, and then come get tuned. youd be fine on 7psi

a t03 and a t4 make totally different power at 10psi.

Whp is the important number for "safe" power.

Most b's can handle 300-350whp on stock internals with a GOOD tune.

Upgrade your valvetrain and you can make 600whp on the stock bottom end if you want.
