Default b16a timing help needed

I'm trying to time a b16a. I have the light hooked up, but I'm not sure which mark on the crank pulley to time to. Theres a notch, notch, red notch, notch in that order. Which mark is the one to time to??
PLEASE HELP.

Default Re: b16a timing help needed (blk-widow)

the red, when used with a standard timing light will be 16 degrees timing advanced.

Use this line.

If you have an inductive timing light, set it to the degree wanted, and line it up with the first notch, which is BTDC...

red= 18 degrees advanced(2 advanced). blue = 16 advanced(stock), brown= 14 advanced(2 retarded), yellow = TDC
