I’m new here but I’ve been reading the forums for awhile now. I have a 95 Honda Civic Dx with 81,000 miles on it that I just got from my grandfather. Now I want to swap the engine with a B16A 92-95 SIR-II engine from hmotorsonline.com. I found this to be the best pick for my money. I’m having a local shop install it for 850.00. Now this swap is a year off. I’m going to do it next year. But until then I want to some other things together. My question is…Is this a good engine for the swap? What are somethings on the car should I work on before this swap to get it ready, ie. handling? And is this a good engine for boost? I know Im going to do a gauge cluster swap 1st with a tach. Thanks for anyhelp.

the engine is a good dohc engine n' can be boosted, but it should be rebuilt for applications other than stock.

Ya your getting a good price on every thing but (maybe not labor lol) i would save your pennys and get the h22a!
