I have a jdm b16a swap in my eg. It has been convetered form OBD0 to OBD1. I have changed the injectors, dizzy, and wirining harness. I am using a SOHC D-series harness on the b16a. Now here is the issue "NO SPARK". I have a P28 ECU.

I have checked wiring, coil, igniter, grounds (thermostat, valve cover, transmisson). I am using a GS-R Dizzy housing with D15b7 dizzy guts. New gs-r cap and i have a new d15b7 ignition rotor.. I see no spark marks inside the cap at all. I am getting power to my dizzy.

What could be my issue?

Does voltage reach the coil and igniter unit?

Does the fuel pump prime?

Do the injectors pulse fuel?

i used a test light on where the 2 screws go onto the coil and they both have power, yes fuel pump does prime and yes i do have fuel.

A P28 ECU is not a match for your engine.

Also click the spark link in my signature. Test the coil and igniter unit. Do the igniter unit input tests detailed in a diagram in the FAQs sticky.

done did all these test and all test out to be fine and a P28 ecu is the ecu u use to run a b16a swap in a eg.

Stock or chipped ECU?

You may also have the wrong distributor.

Stock P28, but that wont matter. I just wont be able to rev above 7k rpm.

You have the wrong ECU and possibly the wrong distributor.

Have you also tested the Yel/Grn wire for a short or open?

Does the cam turn when you crank the engine?

i have no idea why i come on here and ask for help.. a stock p28 runs a b16a just fine.. i have done this many times.. was just very stumped on the dizzy thing.. i will order a new dizzy and try that and it should fix it..

yes, wiring on the WHOLE CAR IS FINE!! car is in time.

well if your gona be a wise guy, at least know what the heck your talking about.. every time you have ever gave me input on anything it has not been the issue. I have found every single issue myself.
