Default B16A OIL PREASURE

Hello Fellas

I have a JDM B16A and it runs really good, but a few weeks ago I realized the oil presaure has dropped, a month ago when the revs were in idle was 30 psi but now it dropped to 20 psi, I used 10-30 valvoline VR1 Race Oil, the engine at 2000 rev the oil preasure is 50 psi and when I ran at 8000 revs it was at 70-80 psi

Do you have idea what is causing this drop of oil in idle revs? Oil pump could be damaged?

Thanks in advance for your colaboration!!!

iol pump, bearings getting worn, oil breaking down, bad oil filter... Heat, could be making the oil brake down...

My oil pressure gauge shows the same numbers as you are describing. ~20 psi (possibly lower) at idle, up to 75psi when revving. I never thought of it being out of the ordinary.

I have about 14 lbs at idle and about 50 lbs while reving. Is this normal?

I'd only start worrying if it dips below 10PSI.

If you're worried port and shim your pump or run a S2000 filter.
