EAS VTEC

Ok Here is my question.
I have an 87 B16A powered CRX. My mods are
PR3 ECU (Mugen programmed Chip). 2.25 exhaust piping ,a k&n air filter and a wallbro fuel pump.

I just installed an MSD 6AL. I gapped the plugs to .050 as the MSD instructions recommend. It’s that the correct amount of gap or it’s too big.

I tested the car at the street and when it comes around 7500 rpm its stats to surge like it needs more fuel or something.
