Default B16A motor quetion...

Im looking to purchase a b16 from Hmotorsonline.com, i came across that the 92-93 Integra motor from japan is a b16A OBD 1 and it costs $1800.00 for the complete change over. Now what is the main difference from that b16 change over rather than gettin the sir-II b16 complete change over for $2250.00? same motor right? is the prices that different because one is a cable tranny and the other a hydraulic?

i believe the OBD I motor from the integra is still considered a 1st gen motor, and the other is what others refer to as a 2nd gen or an SIR II... i think the difference besides the tranny is a little higher compression, more aggressive cams, and results in like 10 HP.

Well if u look at hmotorsonline, the motor has the exact same tourque and hp. They only main difference i see is the cable tranny and the ecu. And if thats the main difference, i wouldnt mind just purchasing that one and get the cable to hydro converion.

I was just lookin at that a minute ago. It lists the compression, hp, and torque as equal between the two. I thought it might be the gen 1 too. Anyone no for sure?
