The car should still run without the crankshaft fluctuation sensor(located at the crank). Assuming you're attempting with the P2P ecu. The P28 w/ Jumper harness will not look for this sensor.
Does your CEL come on and go off?
Does it have Injector Pulse?
Do you have all your grounds tight and clean, T-stat housing, trans to chassis etc..

I do believe I have injector pulse, but we've tested the plug wires for spark, and theres nothing. Ive re-checked all the grounds multiple times and re-surfaced them all as well.
My CEL comes on, and stays on while the ignition is on with the P72, but with the P2P it comes on and goes off.
