B16a hybrids or Si's: What kinda gas milage you getting????
I am very suprised with my car. I swapped a 99 b16a2 into my car a little over a month ago now, and I am still plagued with code 1, which is a primary o2 sensor wiring problem.
I checked my milage over the last week and it was an extremely impressive 28mpg....that seems awsome to me considering I am throwing a code which causes the computer to go off of preprogrammed fuel maps.
Plus I hit VTEC at least twice daily.
What kind of gas milage is everyone else getting???

rite before i put my car in the shop it started throwing the same code. have you found the problem yet i'm hoping that it doesn't need a new o2 sensor but i guess i'll seen find out.

i get usually about 280-300 miles on a tank (36 liters/9.5 gallons) with alot of city driving in vtec, and high speed highway (over 80-100mph)
with a nice mix of about 60% highway and 40% city and almost no vtec, I get about 350-375 miles on a tank
100% highway and 55mph I am able to go as high as 400-425mile per tank (9.5 gallons)

I am just having a wiring problem....the signal the ECU gets from the O2 sensor is very sensitive. The voltage is ususally only around .1-.4 volts. I rigged up the wires, and what I used probably has too high of a resistance and/or the butt connectors suck ***.
I just bought a 98 Ex wiring harness...that should solve my problems but I will probably have to pull the engine out!

i usually get around 27 mpg. But sometimes it goes as low as 22 with all the short trips that i make (work is less than 5 mins away), and making short trips to the market.

I get better to the same gas mileage as when I had my D16A6 in there. Surprises me since it's so much more powerful... Honda must have really cheaped out with the SOHC non-VTEC.

With my GSR motor in my civic, I get anywhere from 25 to 27 city driving and 30 to 32 mpg on the freeway doing about 70 to 80 mph. My CRX Si gets an incredible 30 city and at least 35 to 38mpg on the freeway.

Even more amazing....I just got 35mpg on my last tank full. WTF is going on. That is better then I usually got with my d16y5....and that was a S L O W engine.

Well with my 00 Si I am getting about 270-340 per tank depending on how I drive around town. But It is usaully around 300 Miles per tank.
I guess that would be around .... 28-29 Mpg .

I used to run a Skunk2 ECU on my hybrid civic GSR and my gas mileage was around 21 miles a gallon. I knew that I was gonna lose gas mileage due to the optimized fuel mapping. I have a stock ECU now and I get about 30 miles to the gallon, even when running it hard.
