B16a Help
I just got a b16 swap from a guy that a friend new, well I got the swap home and I took out the spark plugs to see if they where any good and got to looking in the cylinder and seen that there was water or oil in the cylinder. What is wrong with the motor and how could I go about fixing it? This is why you dont buy swaps from people you dont know they will do you wrong everytime!!!!!!!!!

Re: B16a Help (bigdaddyradde)
I could not tell I hope that is was oil but I really could not tell. When I pit my screw driver down in the head it looked like oil but smelled funny(not like oil). It was only in one cylinder not all four that makes me think that it was not done by the person I got it from.

If it looks like coffee then there's most likely water in there. I wouldn't recommend buying anything from guys your friends know anymore.

Re: B16a Help (4drsleeper123)
seeing as there is only oil in one of the cylinders, im going to agree that this isnt something that the user did before. some potential problems could be that one or more of your valves isnt sealed properly or there could be a crack in the head over top of that cylinder.... not really sure it could be a couple of things and there isnt a way to know with out removing the head.... sorry man good luck. call japan direct 1-919-781-7314 for further technical support...
