Default B16a Fuel System Problem

Alright well the car is a 1995 Honda Civic CX. It has been swapped for a JDM b16a from a 92 SiR2 and the car has basic bolt on's and a couple more things.

And lately the engine has been acting up, it all stated when my catalyc converter clogged and i replaced that with a test pipe. Car ran good after that for about a month and then it started to run really rich on my air fuel ration gauge. At Idle i would be really rich and the if I would floor it on 3rd gear I would just lean out and the car would bog really badly.

I got a CEL code 43: Fuel supply system.

Changed the O2 sensor, ran good for a day or two and yesterday I was going on the highway and I would be really rich and when I came off the highway the car would shut off completely alone. I would have to keep the revs up in order to keep the car from stalling.

Also since then once in a while I would get really bad jerking from the car. like i would be going slow on first gear and the car would start kind of jumping like I would be flooring it.

Sorry if I am vague with my post its just that I dont know where to start looking for the problem. Im only 17 and so-much mechanicaly inclined you know!

thanks for the help - Jon

Change your cap and rotor. Same thing happened to my rex.

If you were running that rich, check your plugs... probably fouled out.

yeah but could spark plug be the reason as to why my engine is not running right?

if they're fouled that badly, yes.

But the bogging/stutter problem does sound like a dizzy prob.

Mine went out, the car ran retardedly rich, clogged the cat. Took me a couple days to realize that the dis. caused the problem. Might be worth checking into, anyways.

Start cheap and then go from there.

I am going to see a mechanic tomorow. From the research I did, I think it's either my MSD coil thats going bad or my dizzy is taking a crap. will post to let you know.
