Hello,
I have a B16A plug and play/complete swap for my CIVIC '00, but I'm having problem with the wire harness, Can I use my stock ECU?since it's OBD II and the wiring is only one piece or put the wire wire harness that came in with the motor and buy a adapter for the engine harness to connect to the ECU? Will my ECU even work for the B16A ? 2000 honda CIVIC HX 2 DOOR / OBD II wireharness big plug GRAY with white strip - BLUE plug with white strip - small plug GRAY with white strip ...this connects to the ECU THANKS... I don't believe that harness will work with your car.
From what I remember, you'll need a harness with 2 ecu plugs. 96-98 had three ECU plugs and 99-00 had two. A 99-00 Civic Si harness would likely solve all your problems. EDIT: you'll need to use a 99/00 Si ECU with that too. If you don't want secondary 02 sensor problems then you'll need to wire that correctly or convert to OBD1. I'd personally convert to OBD1. |
