b16A (boost) vs. b18c1

Default b16A (boost) vs. b18c1

i was reading 'how to build honda horse power' and in the chapter 'stock ECU vs. HONDATA ECU' i came across some interesting results. heres what they did:

b16a (stock)(1995 civic del sol)
custom turbo kit
drag exhaust maifold
2.3L Ford turbo
Spearco intercooler
440cc fuel injectors

dyno results: stock 97hp
hondata: 292 hp, max (after tunning) 335hp, 245ft.lbs. torque

my qeustions is this:
wouldnt it be more realistic (cost effective) to get b16 and do what (see above)they did instead of getting a b18c1?
how much would it take to get a b18c1 upto this level?
ive heard that b16 take to boost bette then b18s also...

a b16 makes 170 to the crank, i dont konw whre you got 95 from. that sounds like a dseries motor. also if your gonna boost go with an ls. ive heard the like boost.

the b16 has a better rod/stroke ratio but that doesnt mean it
"boosts better" if i were worried about cost and i was sure i wanted to boost persollaly i would go with th b16. if money isnt an issue the c1 for sure.
