We're going to need a bit more information about the background of the car. There's not much to go on here.

What CEL's are you throwing? Or have you checked?

Also, JDM B16A? You will need to either preform the CKF fix, or use a USDM oil pump.

See the following link for how to fix the CKF fix ---> http://technet.ff-squad.com/ckftrick.htm

If its a JDM OBD2 B16A it will also not have a vtec pressure switch and the USDM will look for it and vtec will not engage. Either use a USDM vtec solenoid, or connect the signal wire going to the non existant pressure switch and tap it into the wire going to the vtec solenoid.

why not either buy a b16a2 or convert it back to obd-1 so it doesnt look for the knock sensor and all that.

No, that would be a P30.

Yes, I'm aware of that, but EX-T simply said a P28, implying a stock unchipped P28, which is certainly less than an optimal solution. In any case its not that hard to make a JDM B16A work with a USDM P2T ECU. You simply need to preform the CKF fix and tap the vtec pressure signal wire into the vtec solenoid signal wire.
