Default B16a

Hey guys I finally have the option to put a b16a into my 94 del sol. I been doing some searching and looking and I was wondering if this was true. http://www.enginereplacement.c...p.htm says, "92-Up Civic/Del Sol, 94-Up Integra needs the B16A2, B18C5, or B18C motor. These motors bolt straight in and will work on models that are not OBDII, unless you change the entire wiring harness or use an adapter. You also need to get axles from a 94-Up Integra GSR or 99-Up Civic Si." Bolt straight in as in I don't need any new engine mounts. Another thing is I plan to do a auto to manual conversion. Do i need a new tranny mount for that as well? Here is the place I plan to by my b16a from http://www.jazzproparts.com/Pr...B16a2
from the top of my head I know I need a clutch assembly lines, pedals, clutch master/slave. I have no idea what the clutch assembly lines are and if you guys know can you direct me to a cheap price. Thanks a bunch guys.

In your car a B16A will bolt right in. Since you are doing a auto to manual conversion, you need to make sure when you order the engine you get the stock mounts and brackets with it because I think the upper tranny mount is different for an automatic. I did a auto to manual conversion on my Integra and the upper tranny mount was different. You will need the rear engine bracket (DOHC VTEC Del Sols, and DC Integras only), front transmission bracket, and A/C bracket which you can get with your engine. The timing belt side mount you should be able to reuse. Since your car is a 94 your easiest bet is to get a OBDI motor to make wiring a lot easier. I'm in a bit of a hurry so I probably left something out but you have very easy 2-3 day swap. "GO JDM"
