if your going turbo why not get a b18b? I personally woudent get a 16 unless I had like a really good deal or something.

^^ beat me to it.

It depends on how much you will get it for.

If I were you, I wouldn't turbo the SOHC, but that's just me. I have a few friends who did, and in the end, they ran almost even with a stock GSR. Not worth it.

If you want to keep it all motor, I'd try to save for a 1.8L motor. But if turbos are really in your blood, have you considered an LS motor? A B18B1?

You'll be getting a 1.8L, plus it's DOHC and great for turboing. What do you think?

i like 1.8s after experiencing with my b16/d16. my b16 feels just like my d16 normal cruising.

lol <<You'll be getting a 1.8L, plus it's DOHC and great for turboing. What do you think? >>>

haha anyway, yea, 1.8l has more tq, hp, blah blah. I would save up a little extra for a b18. B16's arnt worth gettin, it would be better just to save a little longer.

you could get a turbo...and stay even with GSR's all day...but.... a GSR with a turbo good luck at trying to even chase him.

I have a B18A1 in a car and a B16A1, they are really different worlds.
The B16 is worth it IMO but what I hated was my stock 96 CX Hatch laid down the same amount of torque on the dyno as my B16 The LS is a fun motor, hell just do LS/VTEC

... because money isn't an issue to us, since we all have 3000 dollars to spend on a b18c.

Think guys, think.

Hmmm lets see... you turboed your SOHC and it barely kept up with a GSR. Well hell, I'd be pretty proud considering you can probally turbo it for under 1000 and it costs about 3000+ for a b18c.

if you want reliability and just a all around good high reving fun motor go with b16, it can also be turboed. but just remeber either way you go it will cost more money than you originally expected.
