B16 wont rev past 3.5rpm HELP PLEASE
I have an EG6 w/ b16 swap and stock p07 ecu (sohc vtec from VX). My friend who works on Hondas told me that me CEL would stay on until I got "the right ecu" (p28 or 30 he said) but I dont care about the light! Can anyone tell me why my engine wont rev past 3500 rpm? Any possibilities? Thank you.

Why dont you check what ECU code your throwing first. That may determine the problem.

Tell us what they are and we may be able to diagnose your problem. Also the right ECU is always a good thing.

no, it is your ecu.
though the ecu you are running is a "vtec" one, it is for fuel efficiency, and for a sohc motor.
