I know they are well-known for their engine swaps. But has anyone brought a tranny from there? Are they still in good shape? I'm thinking about getting the B16 Y21 Hydro Transmission . Just wanted to make sure that they don't send me a tranny that is broken or wore-out. Please let me know! Thanks!

why not call and find out the types of warranties they offer if you get a damaged tranny. this is the downside to our addictive hobby, you never know what you are going to get or how the previous owner took care of it.

no man, pretty much what philosofy1 said - call them and see what kind of warranty you get when they part them out - cant think of anytime that i heard someone say that they ordered a complete swap from hmotors and the motor was great but the trans was garbage - so call them and ask...its just as easy as typing to one of us on HT

i got a full swap from there and no problems what so ever yet :cross fingers: it had minor grinds but changed the tranny oil and perfect since. hope that helps, i think they give u 3 months warranty but not sure.
