b16 throttle cable and bracket question
I have a gsr and I'm putting on a skunk2 manifold, do I really need a type r bracket and cable or can I use one off a b16a? Wondering if they're the same or if I can use it.. FYI for trolls, I did search it but nobody exactly had the same question as me..

It looks a whole lot better w/the type r bracket and cable. you CAN use an ls one but it looks like ****. and don't run the PCV hose like you see in that pic get a type r one

Re: b16 throttle cable and bracket question
if you'r using an aftermarket tb (you are right) then no. and the box is the charcoal canister you can remove it if you want....i would if you're OBD2 tho.

That's roughly what my tb looks like with the two holes, making sure it'll work

Re: b16 throttle cable and bracket question
was the tb meant to be used with the stock GSR intake manifold ? that's the only reason i could see the pully not working. You're using the type r throttle cable and bracket right ?
