B16 Throttle Body On D16y8 IM
Anybody has any experience in putting a B16 Throttle Body On D16Y8 IM?
I just bought off ebay because I thought it was described as an Y8 TB but turns out after looking at my helms manual it is a B16 (Bore size 60mm and no IAC attached).
If it is beneficial to install, I will use it. Otherwise I will sell it.

It will fit. and there is more power if you do it and better throttle response. I have a itr tb on mine and I like it.

Since the b16 TB doesn't have the IACV on it then You will need an IM that does have the IACV on the back off it. I believe most AT y8 don't have the IACV on the back only the MT do, but hopefully someone will correct me if I am wrong.

You're screwed. Your ecu is going to look for the 3 wire iacv and will not work with a 2-wire unless you do an auto to manual conversion and use the 5spd y8 ecu.
