B16 Swap no start problems
Car is a 92' Civic VX with a OBD1 Integra XSi B16a using stock Pr3 ECU. Swap finished July 09' started first try no problem right after completion. Engine is using modified OBD1 SOHC harness with knock and 4-wire 02 conversion. Drove aprox. 150 miles during break in with no issues whatsoever, I felt like VTEC worked? I didn't bring it up to that RPM much during break in. Car was parked for roughly 5 months during the time I spent at school.
Spring break, I get the first instance of my problem of the fuel pump not priming. Checked fuses, none replaced, car starts and drives fine for one week and is parked for another 3 months until i'm home for summer. I return and the car is in a state where the fuel pump is not receiving any power curently. I have replaced the OEM main fuel relay and fuel pump is brand new walbro unit. I have checked my engine grounds. I have diagnosed the problems with a oem vtec honda manual from the dealership. I am able to disconnect the pgmfi harness and jump the connection to make the pump run, so I know there should not be any body harness shorts. So here i am wondering why i'm not recieving 12volts at the pump when 12volts is flowing everywhere else. |
