Default b16 swap into a 98 ek hatch exhaust problem

what ddo i need to do to get a catback exhaust for an ek hatch to mate up to a b16? what exhuast would be the best for this application and are their any swap parts that would make this a clean job with out having to do any custom welding? I have one last question... will a gsr ecu work with a b16 properly or would i be better of to switch to a b16 ecu?

b16 ecu gsr is mapped differently also its going to be much more cost effective to just have the custom welding done if there even is any to be done im not sure unless you want a custom exhaust

how much longer is a b16 header vs. a d series header on a 98 civic cx ... i am at a loss as to what i should do. i like both the apexi ws2 exhaust and the spoon n1 axle back exhaust. I tried to find a civic type r mid pipe with no luck. any help would be greatly appreciated.

im using my catback from my d series on my b16 swap i love it its pretty much a straight pipe cuz there is no room for a cat but if you dont care about that it should match up perfectly

What type of exhaust do you have and would there be enough room to weld a cat into your catback pipe ?

You just pretty much get a shop to cut and weld a cat onto your exhaust. Just get a test pipe and bolt it on. Mines straight piped. Gl

You should be using a b-series shift linkage, not a orig. d-series.
