b16 swap in eg **very rough idel** mising??
I recently swaped b16a2 into my eg.
Using a p28 with a skunk2 chip and z6 harness. The car idels very rough and once you rev it up on the down rev the car will almost stall. Ideling it will somtimes drop to around 100-220 rpms and bounce back to 750 and back down to 200.
New cap, rotor, plugs adn wires. Timing set to stock. Try using the stock p28 i have and still have this issue. i have tryed using 2 different IACVs too and still haev same problem. Any help would be greatly apperiated.

Re: (Average Al)
Couple suggestions? There's 2 lines of importance running to the charcol canister in this case. 1 from the evap purge solenoid. I'm going to assume this is a JDM B16, so that's not a problem. If it isn't a JDM B16, you have a vacuum leak. The other "phat" line connects to the top of the intake manifold. You could try plugging that. I'm not sure which side it comes into the intake butterfly. If it's on the inside, you'd basically have a mild vacuum leak
(EDIT: It appears the evap recycle line comes in in front of the butterfly valve. so it's somewhat irrelivent)
Either that, or you didn't clean the old gasket off well enough or something, and you've got a vacuum leak at the joint between the IM and head.
As a side note if you take the charcoal canister out, at least route the gas evap line somewhere else. Venting gas fumes into your engine bay isn't your friend.

That's the port that goes to the evap purge solenoid. So that's fine as long as it's sealed.
Hmm..
Did you possibly not hook the PCV line back up? It runs from the engine-side of the IM, through the middile of it, and down to another black canister on the back of the engine. Or possibly it's leaking?

Re: (project_mercy)
I see you replaced the PCV up above. I'd double check that. Assuming it's ok, start the engine, and spray some carb cleaner at the joint of the IM to the head. If the idle goes up, you've got a leak. Make sure you hit both sides.
