ok my b16 is running god but when im cruising and i get off the throttle a little and the rpm begin to drop i get a sputter. it does no happen at any other time only when i slightly get off the gas. just trying to figer out why i already cleaned the cap and rotor the plugs are new and are properly gapped
any help would be appreciated

What do you mean by sputter? From the exhaust? Mine would do that but I had really free flowing exhaust. More info would be good.

well i can hear it through the exaust bc its loud you know you have a nice hum then put,put, put then its ok again only does it on decel at part throttle its only done it since i swapped the p28 in

Well for me, i had a major sputtering problem. Sometimes the engine would just die on me. My problem was a loose ground right below the throttle body area, on the tranny. Since you said you just changed your ECU, try a different one and see if the sputtering stops, if not you know its not your ECU. Their is no definate answer, just gotta go over a process of eliminating the possible problems. Check if your spark plug wires have any tears. Do a search also, lots of past topics about this.

So, you're saying that when you let off the gas, the exaust goes pop, pop, pop or something like that? If there are no other problems (stalling, RPMs dropping) and you have a non-stock exhaust, this is perfectly normal.
