b16 skunk2 intake manifold need help....searched but nada

b16 skunk2 intake manifold need help....searched but nada
im about to put me skunk2 im on my 00 si b16a2 and i got everything figured out but i just dont know why do i need to make a 1/8 tap and get a fitting for it???? it says on the skunk2 instructions... so anybody has ever done it on a 99-00 si???? thanx...
or any1 KNOWS A DIY LINK??

u don't need to make a 1/8 tap for it. it's just plug and play. only thing that will be hanging though is ur evap purge solenoid sensor. there's no spot on the skunk2 pro series intake manifold for the evap purge solenoid to mount on.

well i guess u dont know what u are talking about since the intructions from skunk2 say you do,, so i did it the right way woth no cel codes and it runs fine and feels a lil faster in high rpm...btw, b16 skunk2 IM are made for obd1 so when u out it on a obd2 you have to relacate the EVAP... THANX THO

lol i just needed some advice since it was my first time installing a skunk2 IM on 00 civic si.. but i just followe the instructons that come with the IM and i have no issues so this thread is over thanx for ur interest on helping dow
