Default b16 sirII with auto tranny in 94 hatch

What would I need to complete this as far as mounts and axles I'll try to get motor n tranny obd1 to make wiring simple. Would I still have to run a separate vtec wire?

I've searched this and have read it's pretty easy to drop into an eg I just want to know what mounts etc

ecu, jdm vtec auto tranny (note: I said JDM VTEC AUTO TRANNY), mounts. Must make sure the ecu is the auto b16 jdm one.

May i ask why auto? Because the car is auto now? You might have to pay a little bit of money for that tranny. You'd save more if you convert to manual. very easy to do. 94-00 integra mounts and shift linkage. https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/dans-massive-obd2-b18b1-into-1992-civic-cx-hatch-write-up-2239971/

Yes it's auto now and want to keep it that way. Ups I can just swap to 5spd but don't want to. Actually I already found the tranny locally for 500 with ecu, axles, torque converter etc.

I know I'll have to get aftermarket b series mounts for the driver and passenger side but to be sure for the tranny bracket do I just use one from an auto Integra?

as far as I know, the auto tranny is ALOT bigger then the 5 speed and doesn't fit very well in that car. Quite a bit of fabrication required...not just like a drag and drop with a few mounts and your set to go. Thats sorta why every does it in 5 speed (along with the fact that its alot more fun to drive)

You've got quite a bit of work ahead of you, but it is doable. IIRC, it's been done a few times.

As far as I know, you will need custom mounts, and find a way to wire up the TCM, among other things.

Why would I need custom mounts if this swap is from the sirII which is about the same as the 94 civic

Ok so I know I'll be getting the tranny frown the sirII as well as the ecu. Both are matching. I know I will have to get an ex engine harness then wire vtec to the ecu. As far as mounts I know the driver and passenger side I'll have to get aftermarket b swap mounts like hasport. My question is what about the tranny bracket and mount? I was thinking one from an auto Integra or one straight from Japan.

Bump so I think I'll need to source out the auto tranny bracket and mount from the same chassis the motor n tranny came from.

Quick question will a jdm obd1 ecu connect to my eg without a jumper harness? I know they are both obd1 just figured maybe the jdm one had a lil difference in plugs etc?

Sometimes the JDM automatic version of the vehicle has a different subframe or frame rails in the front to accommodate the larger transmission. Not always, but sometimes.

Yes. Some JDM automatic ECUs are 4 plug are require wiring in a separate TCM, but in this case it's a normal 3 plug OBD1 ECU.

O ok cool on answering the ecu. I'm just gonna go forward and buy the swap and just see what mounts and brackets will work with the tranny. I know b series mounts will work with the motor

So how do I go and find out if the 94 civic sir II came with a different subframe or frame rails?
