b16 quarter times...wutcha think about this setup?
 

Hey...just curious what you guys think this guy should run in the quarter. I know there are alot of variables...but what do you think his "potential" is?

92 civic dx HB
99 si B16a2 motor/tranny
AEM V2
DC Sports 4-1 header
2.25 catback
Magnaflow high flow cat
AEM fuel rail
AEM FPR @ 60 psi
complete MSD ignition
NGK wires/plugs
tuned VAFC
Centerforce Stage 2 clutch
stock steelies with decent tread

what should he run in the 1/4?

prolly 14's. but it depends a lot on the driver.

i Know they are, but i mean he is asking a question, you can atleast guess a number and try to help. instead of just bashing it, i know we have seen them so much its geting so Old...but still sometimes i my self want to ask the question. 60psi with stock fuel pump and fuel injectors hmmmm tuned!?

my setup with i/h/e t-body(65mm) Aebs IM is at 46psi with stock ecu and injectors running rich at idle engine stumbles.. tuning is the issue here..


but anyway low to mid 14's

I was just wondering because I beat this guy in my Crx with the B20b....non vtec. Check out my list of mods. I will be taking it to the track soon but I'm guessing by the cars i've beat that I should be running a 14.5-14.7. I pull on every b16 car i race by at least 2-3 cars and then they play catch up for the rest of the race. I beat this b16 hatch by 3 cars. It's funny because people are thinking im running nitrous because out here...there aren't any non turbo cars that can beat me. The torque on take off is nice.

well, driver or not...
I know i'm a good driver...but...I've beaten 3 different b16 cars now...a 5th gen hatch, and 2 5th gen coupes....
I think the next test will be to run a b16 CRX...
