well maybe it might not be your coolant sensor, it could be intake manifold, dont take my word for it. check or vacuum and hose leaks, and change your intake manifold gasket or check it. how many miles on the car??

hmm, I doubth it could be your coolant sensor. A motor with that low miles shouldnt have a problem like that. bump for a fellow nover

i would guess it has more to do with your ecu and fuel system setup than anything if you are running rich. When the car is cold, the ecu is in closed loop mode where it just runs off the base maps until the o2 heats up enough to be functional. I bet it runs like **** because its too rich, and once the o2 is functional, the ecu leans out the a/f ratio some and the car runs better.

so your sayin my best bet is to get a fuel pressure gauge and FPR......to adjust it at idle? then full throttle?

a bad cts can cause your car to be very hard to start when cold and not want to run until it gets warm... my friends old teg had a bad cts and in the morning he would have to try for atleast 5 mins to get it to start and after that if you gave it any gas before warming up it would die... so i would say its a good possibility that something could be wrong with it... if not it wont hurt to check it... and this can cause your car to run excessively rich or lean... if the ecu thinks the coolant temp is warm when in actuality it isnt, then it will not supply enough fuel which can cause a no start condition... and on the other hand if the ecu thinks the coolant temp is cold when it is hot, it will supply too much fuel causing the car to run excessively rich

your problem might be your idle set valve, or might just be your idle set screw....the idle set screw is easy to get at but the valve is behind a plate on the throttle body...(idle set screw is on the top of the throttle body...play with it)

coolant temperature sensor... you stated it in your first post ... there is one on the head by the dizzy and one on the back of the block... i believe the one on the back of the block is only used to turn on the radiator fan, correct me if im wrong
