B16 motor swapped into a 99 civic Ex OBD2 wires and connector removal
Hi everyone, So Ive been thinking about taking out a B16 engine and transmission from a 2000 Honda Civic Si into a 99 Honda Civic EX. (both Automatic Trans)
I'm swapping everything over from the 00 Civic Si to the 99 civic EX
My question is about the The OBD2 connector located under the driverside kick panel.
Is the OBD2 connector and wires included in the engine wiring harness of the motor and engine computer (ECU)
I just want to know if I have to pull the dash apart to remove it. or is the OBD2 wires tied into the wiring harness from under the dash where all the fuses are located?
thank you very much guys for any input.

So this dash harness is not tied into the fuse block under the steering column!
thanks very much for the insight and advice!

So I do need to remove the Dash?
Is there anything else I need to take apart and swap over to the EX civic?
