b16 lightend flywheel with AC any problems?
I just bought a 94 dx coupe i'm putting my b16 from my crx in it. my question is will a 7.5 lb flywheel hold up with AC? My crx had a hell of a time moving from a dead stop. I want the coupe to be more of a street car than a race car like the crx was. The crx was gutted/ no ac/ no interior. I was wondering if the fly would cuz a problem. i have a stock b16 flywheel just don't know which one to use.
thanks for any help

Re: (cjk95delsolsi)
are u trying to be funny? i'm talking about drivin around town i'm not goin to shut it off at every stop. i noticed in my crx i had to rev the motor high to like 2000rpms or more to take off slow....otherwise it would falll flat on its face and die! If i'm goin to race someone the ac will be off unless i'm provin a point to the person that losing. O ya i forgot to put in i have a stage 3 6puck clutch.

Not try to be funny. I'm not a smart *** like most people. I have a clutchmasters stage 3 and a clutchmasters light flywheel. The only prob is taking off with the ac on. I would either turn off the ac or rev it a little higher.

The problem lies in your clutch not your flywheel. Its an all grab or no go clutch. If you downgrade to a stage 2 or stage 1 you'll get less stalling. People with 7.5lbs and stock clutches take off fine without stalling.

Downgrade? NEVER.lol I can get a 4th gear scratch! and yes it is the flywheel. my buddy has a lsvtec and same clutch as me but stock flywheel he has no problem taking off. even my buddy hooch has a b20 thats stock with a 4 puck...and his car was easier to drive than mine.
