b16 jerks while just cruising
Seems like the throttle is extremely touchy. Any ideas? Doesn't happen when accelerating. Just when trying to maintain a certain speed.

I had this issue with my LS when I first swapped it in. It drove me insane for a while before I finally read about adjusting the TPS. I adjusted it to spec and I've never had an issue since.
I'm not hooked up with Hondata though so I'm not sure how the TPS is suppose to be setup with that.

Interested in this as well....my friend's H2B is doing the same thing... Also, if he winds out a gear and shifts it will not shift smoothly....it acts like it hits a hard fuel cut or something, not even close to rev limiter.

mine does the same thing as well. seems like it stays revved up between shifts. and cuts off with a check engine light in higher rpms

Sounds exactly like my girls teg, I am just throwing this out there, sorry if it doesn't help. But hers does the same thing but its a GSR. It jerks while just cruising when you let off the gas. But the CEL came on one day and I jumped it and it was the MAP sensor. Now I don't know if yours is anything like that or thats what it could be. But just throwing it out here.

Re: b16 jerks while just cruising
Well when cel comes on its just when im kinda stepping on it. It cuts it off and the check engine flashes once and goes away. I recently just turboed my car and have yet to get it dyno tuned so i assumed it was just protecting it from getting too lean or something from the added boost. So then i unhooked the piping from the intake to basically make it n/a and it did it anyway. So im concerned with that.

You're driving around a boosted car with only a basemap? Not even a street tune? You're "kinda stepping on it"? Epic fail and recipe for bad things to happen.
Lemme ask. Did you bother to even pull the code instead of just watching the CEL come on and go off?

I'm not smashing the **** out I keep it under two pounds. And there is no cell to check it goes away. Even with the laptop hooked up looking at my dtc's it doesnt show it.

Even if I believed you, which I don't, you shouldn't be boosting AT ALL with just a basemap. Ask anyone worth their salt and they'll tell you the exact same thing. All your problems are probably related to your lack of tune that's why nothing you've tried is working.

Well with the fact that the place im getting it tuned is 300+ miles away i kinda wanna have the problems worked out so i don't have to waste my time driving over there just to have them say they cant tune it.

No wideband? How do you know WHAT is happening without one? How do you know if it's leaning out (which is dangerous)? The very minimum set of gauges you should have is Boost/Vacuum, Oil Pressure and a Wideband. ESPECIALLY if you're running untuned. I think you're absolutely crazy not running with one. Is this an Ebay turbo?

26PSI on an Ebay turbo without a tune!!! Are you batshit crazy? Is the engine stock?
have you upgraded anything? The fuel system? The injectors? Fuel pump?
Keep it up and you won't have a car to drive.

You don't just strap on a turbo without upgrading everything and knowing what you are doing. It's not plug and play.
So to sum up.
No tune.
What appears to be a crappy basemap.
Stock engine. Stock injectors. Stock fuel pump.
No gauges to monitor anything.
Fail.
Good luck.
