First off, there is a b17. Its the b17a1 i believe, it came from the 92-93 teg gsr (my friend just sold his, its was a beast. With 299k miles on it too, lol). Not many people know of it since it was only made two years. But, i think this will work since the b-series gets their displacement from the crank/rods/pistons stroke. To my knowledge all b-series (excluding b20 crv, and such) and the same in thereselves but get the difference displacements from the cranks and rods. But dont quote me.

Re: (z6hatchboy)
arent the blocks different between a b16 an b18 isnt that why you can only use the spoon stroker kit on the b16b because its a gsr bottom end
idk that just what i read but if this is true then would that mean the b17 block differs from the b16

You can go b17 crank and rods into a b16, so I dont see why you couldnt de-stroke a b17 with the b16 internals. Makes little sense, but i dont see why you couldnt.
