Re: B16 Header
The oem stock exhaust manifold is made so well, adding a header to a B16 usually only offers 1hp to the wheels
Perhaps look at a decent brand name, but don't pay too much for one. Your hard earned dollars can be better spent elsewhere

Re: B16 - which header would be best?
Look in the performance section of the website. The popular RMF style header has been proven time and time again to be one of the best headers out there.
Also look into the Logic Tri-Y. It's probably better quality than the Private label MFG, and also a really good header for the price.
The market for ~$400 headers is amazing. Great stuff for a great price.
The skunk2 Alpha is actually pretty decent as well IIRC.

No. Buy one of the ones I mentioned.
Why are you attached to DC? Because it's name brand?
Compared to even 2 years ago, the budget header has come a LONG way. The $400 Logic Tri-Y is as good and better than some $1000+ headers available.
That's ridiculous!!! Watch this video:

Re: B16 - which header would be best?
ok lets start with the no ways.
mugen- jasma is japans BAR. so ya no.
DC- uhh its DC your OEM header performs better. pvc would perform better.
Bisi- not custom, 200 more then proven better off the shelf header, major midrange loss
the dos. basically what libretariat said.
logic tri-y, plm's hytech rep or toda rep(quality isn't the greatest but hey it works well.)
search google for replica header showdown.

Re: B16 - which header would be best?
It depends what your budget is. For that type of set up I would just get Type R headers. DC headers are ok but In my opinion and experience I think the Type R headers are better. If you are getting them to just get a different sound and not for performance then I would get them. But if your trying to build your car a little faster then I would save up a little money and get some good performance ones from Toda racing. Hope this helps and good luck with your decision.
