b16 head b18 block?
I'm building a b18 block with a b16 head. I just have a few questions. First what computer do I need? Second any recommendations on trannys? and third does anyone know how much boost I can build the block to handle? Lastly I'm putting it into a 93 civic coupe EX. Any and all info is appreciated.

I would recommend a p28 ECU. Must be compatible with VTEC, so this ECU would make sense.
I would recommend the b16 tranny, s1? It has close gear ratios that will work well with your poor man type r engine...
EDIT: Yeah, search is a good idea! I've seen some very imperative replies...

Well if your planing on running boost, and from the sound of it you want to run quite a bit of it. If that is your goal then your going to need some tuning. My recommendations for a computer would be AEM's EMS or Hondata. Your going to get your best power with proper tuning out of those 2 computers.

Honestly, if you havent bought the head yet, buy a whole b18b stock engine and b16a tranny. Get some piston guards and you can run the engine daily up to 11 psi...
