b16 head!?!?

Default b16 head!?!?

ok so i snapped my timing belt and im pretty sure i bent a valve im doing a compression test soon but im wondering if it is bent..what should i do its a JDM b16a head with cams but if its ****ed and unfixable what are good heads b18's possibly ls/vtec? or just get a stock b16a head and swap out my cams..

I'm pretty sure you bent a valve too. I bent 2, in a h22.

Of course the best head is the Type-R since it comes mildly ported and polished from the factory and has a much stronger valvetrain. The GSR has smaller combustion chambers which will add roughly 0.3 to your compression ratio. This sounds like a good time to plan out a build.

Although my old H22 has two bent valves, the head was in perfect shape, so I just replaced the valves and kept the head.

if the timing belt snapped and you bent valves, it is repairable via a machine shop. i personallly run the ls/vtec and it does great.
