b16 hatch vs mustang GT
i've run against a few mustang GT's and absolutely demolished them...
i have a 92 cx with jdm b16a2, intake, exhaust, no ac/ps, thats it.
i've run from a dig, 30mph roll, 70 mph roll... not hard by any means.
a few people i talk to are still not convinced.
180 flywheel hp (no dyno but its probably close to that in bhp) and 2000 lbs will easily beat a boat *** mustang with an inefficient v8...
anyone else with a b16 hatch run against a mustang gt ever?
i even stayed neck and neck with a z28 camaro, and they are far faster than mustang GT's...

Yeah it sounds like your kind of exaggerating a little . I had a hatch si ( only300 more lbs) with a B18C and a lot more mods and was just able to beat one off the line

Re: b16 hatch vs mustang GT (SOHC4life 96)
off the line was less of a win, more neck and neck there. but from a roll, once i was already moving, and having hardly triple digit torque numbers didnt matter it was a much better race.
from the freeway roll i walked away from him and the DOMESTIC guy did the ricer flyby rofl

Re: b16 hatch vs mustang GT (90gs)
I walked a few GT Stangs...But the funny thing is...People with a 6 cylinder model will have a GT emblem on the back. I won a few and got SPANKED by a few. Some GT's run 15's in the 1/4. Some 14's in the 1/4. And a some runs 13's in a 1/4. I'm talking about the stock unmodified GT's 1/4 mile times. How come I always seem to pick the 13 second ones lol . Also I know this is the wrong forum. Don't forget people can change a emblem very easy like take off the SVT and put GT...equals a 12.5 1/4 e.t. car STOCK!!!

Re: b16 hatch vs mustang GT (90gs)
being specific on what year the Mustang GT is so that it could be narrowed down would be nice. as well as the year of the Z28's. these cars have been in production for the past 30 years. and each model year/generation has different power output, motors etc etc.
