i doing a swap right now, and i'm having an issue with the distributor wires. my car its a 95 Dx hatchback, and i'm installing a 00 b16 on it.. i know i gotta use the 95 dx harness with the b16, so i started changing the plugs from the b16 harness to the dx civic harness... the issue now its the distributor wires.. since i'm going to use the dx 95 harness... the 95 harness plugs for the distributor have... 9 wires total in 2 plugs.. and the b16 harness has a single plug with 8 wires on it..... if anyone can help me finish this swap. i only need to know where or which wires i gotta connect together and which wire its missing?

i had the same problem with my b20 swap.we cut the clip of my civic harness and wired the b20 clip onto the civic harness.we just copied the location of each wire and i belive one of the wires wasnt even used because there is no wire.

but the car worked like that... an another thing its that the colors of the wires are differente colors

i opened both distributor and saw that the wires even tho they change color the location its the same, but now i have a solid blue wire... the car starts and everything but i can't turn it off from the igniticon switch.. it turns on by it, but it doesn't turn off by it.. what u guys think is

cut the plug off your stock distributer. connect all the wires as they will all match. Your good to go...

i did that and it works, but i have one wire left a solid blue wire......and i'm having problem with the car shutting off.. not sure if its cuz of the wire been disconnected...... the car starts and everything but it doesn't wanna shut off by the ignition switch.... any ideas
