95 hatch with b16a2 swap. my car doesnt over heat or sun hot. but with it starting to get warmer I wanna make sure it stays that way. I noticed the entire time ive owned this motor (been in 5 cars) the fan has never come on.

I tested the fan on a battery and it works fine, I then unplugged the plug on the rear coolant line housing and jumped it with a wire, I turned my key on and the fan came on. why wont it come on while im driving? I am running a thermostat and im running coolant and water wetter.

Your jumper wire test proves that you can fix the problem by replacing the coolant temperature switch on the thermostat housing.

i have the exact same prob, just waiting till i can change the thermostat and all the old hoses before i change the switch, just got it hotwired to the radio fuse for the time being

is it something I can get through an auto parts store or dealer only?

Yes, your switch is bad. You should be able to get a replacement from your local auto parts store. You could also get the genuine Honda part from Majestic Honda for about $33 (not including shipping).
