I need some serious help here guys. I got a jdm b16a1 converted and put in my 94 civic. It was running fine till I changed the plugs. know it runs poor. When I start off in 1st gear it bogs down and sputters till the rpms go higher then it runs ok, not perfect but ok. After it has ran for about 15 minutes it just runs poor all around, it sputters and bogs at every shift and sometimes in between. I was thinking maybe the gap of the plugs but I put them at 44 and I used denso plugs. Also when vtec engages it would just sit there and jerk. I am still running the original p28 my d16 had. can anyone give me any idea what could be wrong? willing to pay for your time?

ITs something to do with your spark. This happened to me when I flooded the spark tubes with water. The spark was arching. Put some new plugs in and use some dielectric grease on the spark plug wires. Might help. Good luck.

you either gapped you pluggs to much or to litlle, take them out and check the gap on them

is it the denso iridiums? i heard you just put them in and dont need to gap them...but thats just what i heard

you spark plugs arent gapped right. take them out and check the gap. which plugs are you using?

I have not chipped it yet but it was running fine before the plug change. I am still trying to decided on chipping the p28 or finding a p30

Thanks for the help. I checked the plugs and while checking I found out that one of the wire was toasted at the cap. So I replaced them and all it is doing is that when I sit at idle it revs up and down, not alot but enough to get on my nerves so if you guys have an ideal of what that is please let me know.
