B16 with a Drive Plate on the motor instead of a flywheel
B16 with a Drive Plate on the motor instead of a flywheel. Is this only for the automatic transmission motors or will i have a problem doing my motor swap as a 5-speed?

Re: B16 with a Drive Plate on the motor instead of a flywheel (5 0 DIPPA)
Remove the plate, and there may be a little spacer/ring in the end if the crank that is pressed in. Use some vicegrips and pry it out (lock grips on the lip of the spacer, and pry the nose of the grip against the crank, alternating sides until it's out). Flywheel should bolt right up to the crank(i.e. the plate and flywheels use the same bolt patters) Later!
