from my personal experience with the jdm DC 4-1 on my b16a vs. comptech 4-2-1 1 piece was . the DC seemed like it made more power in vtec and closer to redline but the comptech had alot better low- mid range. on the dyno the comptech made the most of 159.1 with 115.5 tq, the best i ever got out of the DC was 157 and 105tq. so even though the DC felt better the comptech was overall a better header, IMO

From personal experience on my B16a, it didn't make super noticeable gains until my CTR cams and a little street tuning. Things really started to open up on my car after playing with the cam gears and installing Kenji's OBD1 P28. The huge drawback of this header as you probably know is the ground clearance. Honestly, I would look into header-tech or AN-R (AN-R if you're not going to run AC or PS). AN-R goes for 480 shipped, really good price.

It's the cheapest 2.5" collector header that I'm aware of. The money:gain ratio is excellent.

6 whp more than my Supersprint 4-2-1 and that's not a bad header..The DC just flows even better..I am at 159 whp now and only I/H/E
But beware it has clearance problems it hangs very low
