Default B16/D16 axle interchangeability

Hello, fella's,

I'm kind of a noob to the Honda game, so I have a question. I'm currently changing the axles on my '94 Del Sol SI (SOHC V-tec, D16, MT, etc.). Will the axles from a V-tec model (DOHC B16) bolt onto the SI? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

No, it won't. You need d-series axles from a 92-00 Civic.

Nope, the B series engines utilize an intermediate shaft, whole different setup, however you can use any D series axles I believe...

OK, I got the driver's side squared away, but I have to ask (told you I'm a newbie). The B16 axle (passenger's side) does not have an intermediate shaft, and neither does the one I removed from my car (D16). Are they still not compatible (does the fitment issue go beyond the intermediate shaft problem)?
The reason I ask is that I have a reman B16 RH axle lying around still in the box, so I'd like to avoid shelling out $60 if I can use this axle.
Thank you for your patience.
