b16 burning oil...help
Hello guys,
It has been more than 1 year that bewteen every oil change, my engine burns about 1.5 qaurts of oil. (certainly im adding oil)
I change oil every 2000 miles.
No oil leak and No smoke coming out of the muffler.
So where is that oil going !!!!

Losing a quart and a half every change might not blow visible smoke. Two diagnostic things you can do to help find the source of the problem: Clean the entire motor and engine bay with some engine degreaser, and do a leakdown test. After cleaning with the degreaser, it will be easier to spot any possible micro-leaks you might not notice through the normal engine grime, and the leakdown test will help identify anywhere the oil might be leaking/burning in your engine.

Thanks man,
So if one of the cylinders show a leak higher than 20% ,then it is probably the pistons rings are bad? or thats not correct?
