b16 to b18C??'s
Im pulling my b16 block and swapping it for a gsr block, what do I need to do this, just the gsr head studs and gsr timing belt? Im using the b16 head. Can I use my b16 header?

...why? If you dont use GSR/ITR internals, you just have a B16 inside of a 1.8L block. If you used CTR internals, you'd have a better rod/stroke ratio, however. But still. It seems very pointless unless you're buying 1.8L internals.
You have to use an ITR belt. The 1.8L blocks are longer than the 1.6. For that reason, you can't use your B16 header either. Unless it hangs down pretty far and can actually clear the 1.8L block without rubbing on the oil pan.

No.
An LS VTEC requires the use of a 1.8L block with 1.8L LS internals. The LS has more stroke than the GSR or ITR. The LS is slightly bigger than the GSR or ITR.
Then you slap on any given B series VTEC head. B16A/B, ITR, GSR...whatever.
But it has to be an LS/GS/RS bottom end.

Assuming he's using a short block...not just a block...
Pretty sure you'll want to use b16 head studs, not gsr's. Did you check with ARP? It would be the same ones used for the ITR...
You may not be able to use the b16 header, because your deck height is now taller.
Some aftermarket headers are specific, some are not.

You know, it would be a whole lot better, if you used that gsr bare block, and put an 89mm ls crank and rods inside...
Much better than your std ls/vtec

Just to stick up for the OP,
from readin this im getitn that hes playin w/ poor mans type r w/ a built b16 head. Better flow. built head, high revs, got yourself a poor mans type r.
Props to more displacement, im still in the 1.6 world. Still love my b16 though.

Re: (hondachris1994)
I already gave you a suggestion about the studs. They will be the same ones for the ITR....
If the ITR and GSR have the same part numbers, they will work.
If the ITR and the B16 have the same part numbers, you made a mistake (this is likely)
Yes, you will need to use the b18c timing belt.
Both questions could be answered by spending more than 5 minutes researching the archives....
