Default B16 in 92 vx hatch..

what exactly is needed to do this swap into a totally stock 92 VX hatch?

B16 swap from http://www.hmotorsonline.com.
- Motor
- Hydrolic Tranny (S21, Y21)
- ECU (P30)
- Axles with Half Shaft
- Shift Linkage
- Stock Motor Mounts
- Alternator
- Starter
- Clutch
- Flywheel
- Intake Manifold
- Exhaust Manifold
- Fuel Rail
- Injectors
- Distributor
- Engine Harness
- Comes With All Sensors Needed

all above comes with the swap...
are there any parts that needs to be replaced? added?
and difference between S21 and Y21?
TIA

Your pre-wired for VTEC, so you'll just have to run some wire for the knock sensor. I just did this swap. You'll want to get new seals, plugs, plug wires, timing belt, water pump, etc so the warranty is valid.

You'll need new radiator hoses, a 90-93 Throttle cable or make your own custom bracket, 1an engine hoist/cherrypicker, new fluids and all that fun stuff along with a nice hefty ratchet set.

Lots of patience would help too.

PS Steve at HMO = good guy. I'm jealous casue you'll be paying several hundred less for that swap than I did. Go ahead and get the LSD tranny its worth it, and reving to 8k is FUN.

Use your stock D15 harness and just add the necessary wires. I used my stock Si harness, but you're in luck because all 92 hatches are wired for VTEC, so it makes your job a bit easier. The hardest part for me was waiting on parts that I needed. If you have someone that knows what they're doing the swap should go relatively fast. Just make sure you drop your tranny before taking out the old motor because its ALOT easier to pull, and it might be worth it to get a new clutch on the B16. The clutch that came on my B16 was in GOOD shape, but I still bought a new one.

All the motor mounts Steve sent fit perfectly. Make SURE you take any and every bolt and keep them in a place you'll remember or in ziploc bags with labels, or you'll end up paying $8 for a rear motor mount bolt from Honda like I did.

The only thing that went wrong with my swap was a broken o2 sensor and Steve didn't hesitate to tell me he'd replace it.
